We, as Kalbi people, have always been a lover of nature and a close observers of nature’s many moods. The habits of the birds and animals, the voices of the winds and waters, the flickering of the shadows, and the mystic radiance of the moonlight all appealed to us. Gradually, we have formulated fanciful reasons for the myriad manifestations of the Mighty Mother Nature. Cooks by instinct, we have framed odd food recipes to convey our explanations to others about natural food.
